Harm Reduction Institute (HRI)

The Harm Reduction Institute (HRI) is a 90-minute institute for chapter leaders that will go over the basic concepts of harm reduction in SFL and help chapters set goals for this semester. Chapters will be able to start the Harm Reduction plan with SFL staff in this space.

Attendance 

This is for new officers. If you attended in the autumn semester, you are not required to attend. 
Chapters under 50 – 3-4 participants 
Chapters over 50 -  4-5 participants 

1. Risk Manager (required)
2. Social Chair (required)
3. New Member Educator (required)
4. Chapter Choice Officer (SOE Chair, President, etc)
5. Emerging Leader

We encourage chapters to attend together as a team at the same session.

Social Event Management Education (SEM) 

PHA Social Event Management Training- Wednesday, 08/27/2025

This event will take place over zoom. Please find a time that works best with your schedule. This event is mandatory. Chapters cannot hold social events until they have attended this educational training with all required officers in attendance. Mandatory officers: President, Secondary Leaders, Social Chair(s), Risk Manager, New Member Educator, and Standards/Judicial Chair.
