Harm Reduction Institute (HRI)
The Harm Reduction Institute (HRI) is a 90-minute institute for chapter leaders that will go over the basic concepts of harm reduction in SFL and help chapters set goals for the SP23 semester. Chapters will be able to start the RM&HR plan with SFL staff in this space.
Attendance
This is for new officers. If you attended in the autumn semester, you are not required to attend.
Chapters under 50 – 3-4 participants
Chapters over 50 - 4-5 participants

- New Member Educator (required)
- Chapter Choice Officer (SOE Chair, President, etc)
- Emerging Leader
We encourage chapters to attend together as a team at the same session.

Social Event Management Education (SEM)
Chapters cannot hold social events until they attend this educational program.
You will learn about policies and procedures when hosting events. Attendance is mandatory for 10% of your chapter membership, including the President, Social Chair, Risk Manager, and Standards/Judicial Chairs. Session information, including RSVP forms, is listed below by council.

Location: Great Hall Meeting Room 1&2 and/or Interfaith Prayer Room – Ohio Union. Students may go where space is available.
Required attendees: chapter president, risk manager, social chair, standards/judicial chair, new member educator + 10% of chapter
