Resources To Stay Connected

Keeping Sisterhood, Brotherhood, Siblinghood and Entertainment

  • Connect with friends and members: Use these resources to connect with friends and keep up with your favorite shows or movies, even when you’re miles apart!
    • CarmenZoom: Use CarmenZoom to get in touch with your chapter members, either in small groups or everyone all together. Unlike some platforms, CarmenZoom has no length limits, is free for students and can host up to 300 participants in a meeting. Guest attendees of Zoom meetings do not need to be affiliated with Ohio State, so you can invite friends from other campuses or your advisors as well!
    • Long Distance Movie Night
    • Netflix Party
    • Social media: You probably know the gist of this one, but think about how you can continue to promote the awesome achievements of your members or engage them virtually, especially because some of your end-of-year socials and recognition ceremonies won’t be occurring in person.
    • Member Pairings: Use this randomizing tool to create random pairings or small groups for members to check in on each other
    • Phired Up Productions Resources: This suggests 44 ways to foster brotherhood/sisterhood virtually
    • Other ways to stay engaged - share your favorite podcasts, take virtual tours of museums, galleries, travel destinations, musical performances, art projects and zoos.
