Juan Carlos Velazquez serves as the Chief Justice of the Interfraternity Council. His responsibilities include making sure that all fraternities are and stay in good standing with the University, as well as holding them accountable to the bylaws and policies of the IFC constitution. He hails from the home of the shamrock in Dublin, Ohio, but is a descendant from a small village in Michoacán, Mexico. He is a member of the Phi Kappa Tau fraternity, where he is Chaplin, responsible for the ritual ceremonies and head of the chapter's largest philanthropic event. When he isn’t in the gym or on a run, Juan can be found watching a game of soccer or tearing up the dance floor. Commonly used quote: “You know I was born here right?”
