Every year we hold a philanthropy event, called Red Dress Gala, to raise money for Women’s Heart Health and the Alpha Phi Foundation. The Alpha Phi Foundation advances women’s lives through the power of philanthropy, funding empowering Fraternity leadership programming, life-changing scholarships and assistance grants, cutting-edge women’s heart health research, and critical heritage preservation. Through the generosity of alumni, donors and Red Dress Gala(s), the Alpha Phi Foundation funds research and educational programs that support the advancement of women’s heart health. The annual Heart to Heart Grant awards $100,000 to medical professionals to better understand heart disease in women—specifically its symptoms, treatment, and prevention. Since its inception in 1993, the grant has funded over 30 cutting-edge projects focused on the improvement of women’s cardiovascular care.
This year it’s being held on February 24th, 2024 from 6 to 10 p.m. at The Renaissance Hotel in Downtown Columbus. Last year we raised over $50,000 for the Alpha Phi Foundation!
